We’ve made some big changes to the course this year, returning to our roots to revamping some of our already insane obstacles (and adding to the madness with new ones), and we want to make sure you’ve got the deets you need to be ready to crush your next Tough Mudder event.
We’re keeping the options – but not the actual courses – simple this year, offering Tough Mudder 5K for beginners and a Tough Mudder Classic for those ready to take on a bigger, badder physical and mental challenge.

TOUGH MUDDER 5K
If you’ve never tackled a Tough Mudder before, signing up for a Tough Mudder 5K is the perfect way to join Mudder Nation and experience one of our teamwork-focused, obstacle-crammed events for the first time. Tough Mudder 5K is untimed, so there’s no pressure, no judgement, and no need to commit to a crazy-intense training regimen – 13 obstacles, 5 kilometres, it’s a muddy good time.
TOUGH MUDDER CLASSIC
Tough Mudder Classic is a return to our badass roots: one 16K loop of mud-soaked mayhem loaded with 25 best-in-class obstacles – including 10 new 2019 obstacles on Every. Single. Course. This is your chance to get outside your comfort zone, discover what you’re made of, and cross that finish line stronger than.

Year after year the obstacle-obsessed engineers at Tough Mudder HQ work feverishly to make the impossible possible, and bring Mudders around the world the best obstacles in the game. 2019 is no different, with an explosion of 8 new or updated obstacles on every course. From tight spaces to high places, every course is locked and loaded with chances to conquer your fears, find your best, and experience the very best obstacles on the planet.
